Summer Ringette Skills Development Camps are for U-10 through U-16 aged players. Each age group is limited to 34 participants (30 skaters & 4 goalies) to ensure a very favorable student/instructor ratio, which is the hallmark of our Summer Ringette camps.

It is important to note that UR Summer Ringette Skills Development Camps are not designed, nor intended, to solely be conditioning camps. While a high activity level is present in many areas of the camps, the main focus is to develop and improve ringette skills, as well as contribute to the overall development of the athlete. The camps include two ice times daily, dryland sessions, Thursday swimming activity (where available), confidence/leadership activities, and team building exercises. The afternoon ice time will be dedicated to a power skating component and will be taught by a certified power skating instructor.

All other areas of the camps will be taught by active Ringette players. With an average of 15 years of playing experience, summer camp instructors are some of the most skilled ringette players in Canada today and are equipped with a wealth of ringette knowledge that will undoubtedly improve any young player's ringette skills. Many of our instructors are current and past National Ringette League players and some have even competed at the National level. Ringette players are great role models for your daughter, demonstrating first hand that excellence in athletics, academics, and professional occupations can go hand in hand.

There will be a goalie instructor on hand at the camps to work with any individuals wishing to receive goaltending instruction. Only 4 registrations per age group will be accepted for this specialized area.

These Ringette Skills Development Summer Camps are made possible through the financial and managerial support of Cutting Edge Ringette Academy.

If you choose to withdraw your child, then our standard cancellation policy applies. Details of this policy are shown on the camp registration form.
